• Jim Morris is set to release his latest album "Working Hard To Do Nothing" on April 11. You can preorder the CD by clicking HERE. The project features 11 orginal songs. 
• Speaking of Jim Morris, the veteran Trop Rocker is hosting his annual "Magic on The Water" event in FL from Thursday April 8 -11. The featured entertainer will be Jerry Jeff Walker. Click HERE for more information or to purchase tickets.
• Jake Tater and Howie Golub of the Boat Drunks recently performed a acoustic show in thier hometown of Champagne, IL. They were joined by surprise guest and former band mate Mike Miller.

Trop Rock Roundup 4/1/10

• Jerry Diaz and Brent Burns will be joining forces for a special songwriters show on April 11. "Live From The Island" will be held at the Clear Lake Shores, TX community center. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. You can buy them HERE. 
• Ilo Ferreira will be playing at Lulu's Homeport Marina in Gulf Shores on Sunday May 30th as part of the 6th annual LuLupalooza event. Click HERE to learn more about this free event. 
• Beaches A1A Parrot Head Club will host thier 14th annual Betty Teague Memorial Beach Bash & Volleyball Tournament on July 16 & 17 in St. Augustine Beach. Sharkstock Registration Opens

Sharkstock has announced its dates for 2010, along with its entertainment lineup.  Sharkstock will be held from September 4-6 in Grapevine, TX. Artists scheduled to perform include;

Trop Rock The Bay Lineup Announced

John Reno has announced the lineup for the second annual Trop Rock The Bay event. The music filled event will be held in Fairhope, AL from September 30 to October 2, 2010. The lineup includes Reno, Brent Burns, Jim Morris, James "Sunny Jim" White, Jerry Diaz, and Troy Allan. 

Registration is currently open, and a ticket for the entire weekend is $75. You can visit The events website HERE and learn more about the event and buy your ticket.

Trop-Rock Station Coming To Panama City

Trop-Rock artist Steven Youngblood is reporting that Panama City, FL is about to become home to an all Trop Rock radio station. Trop Rock 1290 AM is set to begin broadcasting in April.  The station has a Facebook fan page that you visit by clicking HERE.


UPDATE - As of 3/28/10 the station is now live on the air in the Panama City area. Tune in to 1290 AM to listen.
